Scripture for Today
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; - Psalm 34:19 NIV
God never promised that we would have an easy life; He promised that he would be with us through it. He promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us on this journey we call life. So when life happens, and various tribulations come upon you, remember that God is with you through it all. His love remains, and he is a very present help in a time of trouble. Psalm 46:1 reads
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. - Psalm 46:1 KJV
He has the power to overcome the weapons of the enemy in your life and bring about great change. He can move the mountains. He guides you through the valleys. Through every trial that has beset you. God has the power to turn it around.
He makes all things new. He makes the crooked roads straight. He is God alone, His Spirit leads us into greater. Through prayer and fasting, we come into agreement with the creator of the universe who has the ability to change every single affection in our lives to deliver us from the guilt, the shame, the pain of past situations and mistakes. Our God is faithful and more than able to deliver you.
Three Practical Ways To Walk Out This Word Daily
1. Speak God’s Deliverance Over Your Life
When troubles arise, declare aloud that the Lord will deliver you from them all. Speaking His Word in faith reminds your spirit of His promises and shifts your focus from the problem to His power.
2. Remember Past Victories
Keep a journal of times when God has brought you through difficult situations. Review it often, especially in seasons of challenge. Let those testimonies strengthen your faith and remind you that God’s track record is flawless.
3. Practice Daily Gratitude
Start and end each day by thanking God for His faithfulness and deliverance, even before you see the answer. Gratitude keeps your heart aligned with His goodness and opens your eyes to His hand at work.
Closing Encouragement:
The trials and tribulations are for a purpose. The weight is for His glory. No matter what you’re walking through, God has the power to deliver you.
